Stories of Glory was made to provide a way for God’s glory to be shown through testimonies. In Exodus 33, God describes His glory as His goodness, mercy, and compassion. This is what we see in stories of God bringing people out of darkness and placing them into light as His children. Testimonies are not about our personal triumph, or even about all our failures, but about God’s goodness, mercy, and compassion. As we share testimonies, the glory is not for us, but for God. We are unworthy of glory, but God is worthy of all glory and praise. These stories of glory are to point away from ourselves, and toward our Savior.
Stories of Glory was started more than a year ago at Corban University with the simple idea of “what if there was a way for testimonies to be shared regularly?”
Now we are hosting monthly events on campus, and have a vision to host off campus. We have dreams of merchandise, getting Stories of Glory into other schools and churches, and even having events around the country. We want Stories of Glory to shift our society’s culture toward being open about sharing what God has done in our lives.
Check out some of the stories that have already been shared, take a look at our social media pages, and consider coming to the next event. We would love to see you there!
